This real-life story is about a Santa Ana man who disarms his would be killer. It indeed has been somewhat alarming for our self defense students. After all, North County San Diego, is very similar to the particular neighborhood in Orange County where this story took place.

On Friday September 4th, 2015, at approximately 4:00a, Erickson Dumaual hears some noise outisde his bedroom door which opens up to his backyard pool. Before he knew it, he had a gun pointed at his head.
