Tuesday Night Krav Maga Self-Defense Techniques at Point Loma Class

Here is a quick review of the IKM San Diego Krav Maga Point Loma Tuesday night class with instructor Benjamin Halcewicz. Class started with a quick 10 minute warm up. Next instructor Benjamin Halcewicz spent some time reviewing the different stances so the students can understand the reason of each stance. Once you can understand the reason and purpose behind your self-defense techniques you can then better apply them using just muscle memory.

Self-Defense Techniques: Krav Maga Stances

  • Passive stance (no danger)
  • Half ready stance (sense of danger when opponent is getting closer, less than 10 feet)
  • Fighting stance (extreme danger, fight is on)
